Promising life of a poor girl
Mousumi Mondal is 8 years and studying in Grade IV in Sarada Siksha Mandir at Marjada Village. As a agricultural labour, her father named Sanat Mondal of village - South Marjada, P.o- Hotar, Dist- South 24 Parganas, was facing financial hardship to maintain his families of 5 members including education of his children. Under this condition, her daughter was told to discontinue education and also was deprived of proper meals every day.
In order to get rid of her pathetic condition, her father approached to Sevashram for Maintenance of her daughter. In the year 2011, Mousumi Mondal was enrolled as a beneficiary for taking facilities of education. She has been supported by GiveIndia donors.
Now she is happy to be continuing her education. Her attendance in a school is 97%. Her education standard is very good. Out of interest, she is learning dancing and physical exercises. Her behavior is also excellent and overall performance is good.
