Kailasapuram has 250 families. Kailasapuram has 250 families. These are dalit people, very backward in all walks of life. They were very prone to sickness like cholera, gastric problems, fever, wheezing, asthma, etc. They had to travel to Trinelveli 25 km away for treatment, spending all their earning. Finally they were left with nothing but poverty.

We plan free medical treatment at a regular basis. We have 2 nurses who go around the villages. We have a doctor called Dr.Velu who occasionally visits. The nurses visit the villages once a week and have one day medical camp in each village in a month.
