Mission/Vision
Strive towards transforming the de-humanized and exploited to experience and sustain a dignified life.

Background
Being a Dalit, Mrs. Nancy was affected by three dimensions- within the family, being untouchable and having been born as a woman. This phenomenon is common to all Dalit women. This kind of injustice unveiled by the society on the women folk hurt her feelings from childhood. This inner urge and burning desire motivated her to start an organisation for the cause of women, especially Dalit.

Mrs. Nancy has 16 years of experience in organizing the unorganized labours like bullock cart workers, farmers, domestic workers, scavengers and rural artisans and development works. She has organized 680 women self help groups. She is a master trainer in Entrepreneur development training and self help group members and leaders.

Dhanalakshmi is a landless widow who works as an agriculture coolie. She lives with her two children in Bharathi Nagar Tirunelveli District of Tamilnadu. For the past three years she has been affected by asthma As a result she could not work continuously and was under paid.  Sweet memories
Praveen loves to celebrate his birth days from a survey done with the children in our play way method study centre about what they desire the most that they never get in life The first birthday celebration of 6 years old Praveen was a surprise to him, his father Pandian, a scavenger by occupation and his mother Mahalakshmi and two elder brothers. He is studying in our “evening play way education center” in Meenakshipuram of Tirunelveli Corporation Area. We have known the date of the birthday of Praveen with the help of our tuition center register and informed his parents through our tuition center teacher in the previous day. On the day of his birth day, we entered with the gifts - a set of birthday dress, a full cake, and pocket of Cadburys sweets with a writing table and sweets into his home. The mother of Praveen welcomed us with a feeling of excitement and shouted his son to come out to receive us. Praveen came out and saw us with packages of gifts. His eyes widened. Speechless and he understood that it is for him. The whole family encircled us and we wished him very great blessings of the day and all through his life. Happy and joy danced in the midst of emotions, the mother and father expressed their gratitude with the dripping pearls of tears. Praveen had not celebrated his birthday like this and Praveen gave the sweets and cake to all neighbors. It was a very happy and remembering day to his family.
