Story of a Spastic Hemiplegic Disabled, Mr.Francis John
Mr.Francis John is a resident of Kumbharwada, Dharavi. Francis is a 25 year old with spastic hemiplegia and stays with his brother. With his severe disability any economic activity was difficult for Francis with limitations of mobility. NASEOH provided, after appropriate medical assessment, a tricycle to Francis. Francis now has procured an employment as a salesman in a cloth stall near Sion hospital and earns around Rs.1500 p.m. This has not only added to his self-esteem but also is contributing to the family income.

 Story of Mrs.Sunita Jaywant Wadkar
Sunita, a victim of post polio paralysis of her left lower limb approached NASEOH for the training in Computers. Her disability made it difficult to walk and she had her left hand on her knee while walking because of her disability. NASEOH arranged for a corrective surgery i.e. T.A. Lengthening and triple fusion foot which helped Sunita to walk without bending. She was also trained in Computers and travel desk operators course. Today Sunita is happily married to Jaywant and is employed as a Jr.Executive in a Travel Agency and earns around Rs.8000 per month
