Providing Food for Blind & Disabled
Community people from a locality in Ahmedabad came to our organization to handover a blind boy named Kamlesh who was found helpless on the street. He had been crying and was starving. This boy is now staying in our campus and is happy. He is studying in 10th Grade and he want to become a physiotherapist. We did all the legal procedure to adopt this child, after that we gave him admission in Blind School and now he is also getting lodging and boarding. He is happy even without his parents and plays with other children. We are providing the children Roti, Seasonal Vegetable, Rice, Dal, Curd, Salad and dessert at each meal The boy is happy now as he feels that he has got family and is glad that he goes to school like normal children wearing a school dress and lives his life as other children.

Restoring eyesight to poor and needy people
Revaben lives in Pathapur village, District Gandhinagar, with her family. There are 5 members. She is working in field as assistance. Revaben s husband is also a field worker. They are earning approximately Rs. 2000/- per month. Due to her age she is suffering cataract problem. Blind Peoples Association conducts a village eye camp every month and identifies poor and needy patients in need of cataract surgery. Revaben was identified in the camp conducted in Pathapur. With the help of kind donors we are able to restore her vision. After cataract surgery she is able to work independently. Now her vision is very clear and she is satisfied with his life.

Providing Sewing Machine to Disabled People for their Livelihood
Pratikshaben resides in Gomtipur, Ahmedabad, with her family. At the age of 12, she became a victim of polio. There are 4 members in her family. She has completed the one year cutting and tailoring course from BPA ITI. Her husband is also disabled. We provided a sewing machine to Pratiksha for her livelihood with the help of donor support. After receiving the sewing machine, Pratiksha started her tailoring business at home. She got orders to stitch dresses from his neighborhood. She became independent and felt very happy as now she is the earning member of the family. She is very proud of her new business.

 Beautiful & now Bold
Sangeeta Rathod is the daughter of a labourer. She has severe physical disabilities and as she is unable to walk has to drag herself from place to place. She enrolled for a course at BPA with great reluctance & hesitation. Sangeeta was given a tricycle. Staying with other girls disabled like her, made Sangeeta realize that she was not the only one. She also realized that she was responsible for her own future. The tricycle made her mobile and therefore more confident to move from place to place and mix with others. The BPA staff helped her become more confident. They taught her grooming, safety rules & social graces. The good food offered at the BPA hostel improved her physical health. Today Sangeeta is a transformed person. She is confident that after she finishes her education at BPA she will get a job and be able to support her family. She is truly beautiful & bold.
