 Hope shines through
Rajesh hailed from one of the innumerable slums of Mumbai. As is true of most children therein, Rajesh was underprivileged and lived trapped in webs of disadvantage. He was illiterate with no scope and hope for access to education. Denied his basic right to education, his dreams and potential lay crippled. Mahima Home has taken Rajesh into their care. The 2 house parents and the maid therein serve his needs in love. Mahima Home provides the right environment for him to develop holistically through a family environment, excellent accommodation and above all, access to English medium education. He also enjoys good clothing, wholesome nutrition, health care and emotional care. Rajesh today has a secure family environment and English medium education that nourishes him and taps his talents. He is also faring well in academics in his school. He is a confident boy who enjoys making new friends and loves to play outdoor games. In fact, he has even won races in his school!

 Love changes lives
Yabesh was destitute due to tragedies in his family and his life was marked with several struggles. His latent skills, dreams and his cheerful nature lay buried under the debris of his past. With the lack of proper nurture and family love, Yabesh awaited the day when his childhood would become his again. Mahima Home has taken Yabesh into their care. The 2 house parents and the maid of Mahima Home constitute the right environment for him to develop holistically. Today Yabesh has excellent accommodation, access to English medium education, good clothing, wholesome nutrition, health care and emotional care. Yabesh is a very cheerful and outgoing boy today. He thoroughly enjoys befriending new people. He is an all rounder: good student, excellent keyboardist and a skilled athlete. He has a sharp memory and often stuns people with his accurate memory of the entire lyrics of lengthy songs!

 Swimming against the tide
Caleb was 4 years old when faced severe health conditions due to poverty and neglect. His living environment was not conducive to his emotional and physical well being, characterized by struggles. Hailing from the Mumbai slum, and having no escape Caleb could only dream of living in a family and the day he would become healthy again. Mahima Home took Caleb into their care. As a top priority, he was taken for special medical checkups and nourished with the much needed tonics and medications. His weight and health status improved and he overcame malnutrition. Here is our indicative list of daily menu items: eggs, bread, milk, protein rich foods, whole wheat, rice, lentils, vegetables, beverages, biscuits, fruits. Caleb is an energetic and skilled football player today who enjoys playing for his school team! His weight and health status are that of a normal child. He is a good student in his English medium school; above all, he is a secure child, not fearing, but facing his future with physical and mental strength and vitality.
