Trainee to Become a Vocational Teacher
Sanwara is 24 years old, physically challenged. Both of his legs are not in working condition. But he had self confidence to do something for the betterment of the life. After he passed 8th class he joined RMKM as a trainee. When he joined the organization he did not know anything to do. RMKM identified his skills and involved him in wooden unit because he can do work only with hands. In Wooden unit (under Vocational unit) he is providing regular training to the other disabled as well as mentally challenged children/adult. He teaches different methods of training to other trainees like use of jigsaw machine, different type of cutter, drill machine etc. Now Sanwara is a Vocational Teacher in wooden unit in RMKM. He has lot of confidence to do everything in wooden unit. He can make design on wood with the help of jigsaw machine .He can cut wooden products with iron blades. Now he is a master trainer of vocational students. He can make different type of TLMs, Wooden Lamps, coaster box, Pen stand, photo frame etc.

Make a Own Path to Sustain Her Family
Chagan Kanwar, 57 years old, came in contact with RMKM three years back when her son committed suicide due to economical condition. He was bread earner; her husband got paralyzed due to this shock. Chagan took loan for last procession of her son as rituals of Rajasthan and then for treatment of her husband. He also died after one and half year of death of his son. Her younger son went to Bangalore to earn because as per their tradition women cannot go out of house. It was very pathetic condition for Chagan as her family was very poor. The loan taken by them was unpaid at that time, thus there was no source of income for the survival of the family and she had to take care of her widow daughter in law, and 4 grand children left behind by her son. RMKM linked her to Old Age Pension, built toilet under total sanitation campaign. We also helped her to link with NAREGA. RMKM provided 5 goats to enrich their livestock. Now RMKM is trying the best to help her to open a Kirana Shop for betterment of her family. Now condition has changed, she has 8 goats. In desert goat is consider not less than ATM. The health of grand children has improved, they are going to school, her daughter in law is getting pension 500 widow pension, both of them are making kakan dora(marriage time used auspicious band which is worn in hand) they are emotionally strengthen , she sold one male goat and constructed water tank at her house. We have also provided her counseling not to spend on last rites rituals, and save money for her grand children, which was hard to accept to any traditional women but she took the decision and did not do any expenses which projects her empowerment.
