 The confidence of Mr.Abu Taher
Old age and insufficient nutrition gradually drove Mr.Abu Taher becoming hearing impaired. His family was facing trouble communicating with him. Thus there was a growing intolerance towards him within the family. On being identified to be short of hearing, which can be improved by providing assistive device, Mr.Abu Taher was provided with a hearing aid. Today, the communication gap between Mr. Abu and his family has waned off. He has once again started moving with his elderly friends.

 Story of Mala Sardar
Mala Sardar, aged 11years is the daughter of Pradip Sardar. Pradip works as a rickshaw puller while his wife works as a domestic aid. From a very early age, Mala used to assist her mother in her work as domestic aid. Education had no place in the family. Our teachers working in the School identified Mala in August 2013 and got her admitted in our Non-Formal school. Mala was quick to pick-up her lessons and made rapid improvement in class. Mala is a bright student. She picks up lessons very fast and within a span of 2 years, she is attending lessons of Grade 4. Once Mala completes her primary studies, we plan to admit her to a nearby Girls’ High School.
