Hi,

With profound pleasure, we share with you Teach for India Delhi's first Math event- Mathathon 2017 on the National Mathematics Day i.e. December 22' 17. The purpose of this celebration is to experience and enjoy Math, beyond its failure and phobia.
Teach for India is a non-profit organization that is a part of the Teach For All network. Under the umbrella of Teach for India Delhi that boasts of 263 fellows, 9254 kids, 88 schools, we are limiting a footfall of around 200 students with 40 fellows from various government and private schools of the Delhi landscape, keeping in mind the time constraints and quality over quantum.

About time our students get out of the procedural rut and learn to tap into their intuition when it comes to Math. But how, you ask? Just like we participate in a marathon for the joy of running and not thinking about rewards, Mathathon would be a platform to experience and enjoy Math without marks or formulas hanging over our heads.

In order to conduct this event we would require funds for -
1. Hospitality and Refreshment
2. Stationery including Posters and Banners
3. Prizes and Souvenirs
4. Organizing Team Merchandise
5. Miscellaneous expenses

We would really appreciate your contribution.

Regards,
Mathathon Team
