Muskaan is a voluntary organization serving the educational and vocational needs of people with Intellectual disability. Since our humble inception, 27 years ago by a handful of parents and professionals and only 3 students, we have grown into the largest parents’ association in this field in Northern India In addition to the training center; our outreach program caters to more than 1000 families of people with Intellectual disability. This journey, which seemed daunting at the beginning, has been possible only due to the collective effort of many donors and volunteers.
To further assist the parents and families we plan to publish an information booklet which would be distributed free of cost to special schools, hospitals, nursing homes etc across Delhi.
We wish to expand our programs and publish about 10,000 booklets in the first phase and donations would also be used for Awareness and Advocacy projects
