Hi,
CRASA has been working for development of coastal/vulnerable villages in Krishna district since inception. As we are a grassroots level NGO, we lack funds for such relief work. In Andhra Pradesh, Krishna district is now facing some serious flood problems. The areas of Krishna river belt 16 mandals, 131 villages have been badly affected by floods which are crossed the 100 years record of flood affect. The displaced & effected persons is already estimated at a staggering 2.84 lakh. Rescue and evacuation operations are progressing on warpath by the 282 Armed personals and state administration - but are inadequate. The displaced are facing considerable hardships due to unavailability of food items, shelter, safe drinking water, medicine, cloths in most flooded areas, it is not easy to reach the marooned. The area is in urgent need of relief camps, provision of cooked food by running of mess, clothing, medicine, tarpaulin & safe shelter. Your donation will help us to carry out this work.
