NAB India established in the year 1952 is the only organization providing cradle to grave services for the blind in India.It is one of the biggest non-profit organizations.

NAB, India runs many deptts in Mumbai, out of which one is the education dept which teaches the visually impaired children through Braille textbooks, braillers, braille kits, provides CD's cassettes and even publishes the textbooks in Braille.It has a Braille press, a library, a talking book centre for the blind.

Braille paper is required to produce textbooks in Braille for STD I to XII in various languages done by NAB's Braille Press, which is one of its kind in India.These textbooks reach to blind children nation wide.
