Hi,
As you may know, I am attempting to run my very first full marathon. The challenge is daunting, painful and the road is paved with doubt and often times despair. I won't know till race day if I will pull through or not. But this challenge is trivial compared to what thousands of children in India face every day: lacking education, a support system, nutrition and personal development. For so many of these thousands, life is one long, dreary challenge which most will never overcome unless you and I step in to help in our small but significant way!
I aim to raise Rs. 1 Lakh through my run which will go some distance in ensuring a small set of children get a better shot at making a better life!
