Sachin Tendulkar has just given all of us another reason to celebrate with his amazing knock of 200 runs! While he continues to endorse and support several social initiatives with his money and time, this is OUR chance to give him a small gift from the people of India!

Sachin’s favourite charity, Apnalaya, runs a number of programmes for some of the most deprived children in Mumbai who live in the communities surrounding the garbage dumping ground in Govandi, Chembur.

To mark the BIG 200, Apnalaya would like to take 200 children for a 3 day camp this summer vacation, to Marve or Khandala. Children included in these camps are drawn from Apnalaya’s sponsorship programme, classes for working children, recreation groups for vulnerable children, challenged children, and youth groups, both boys and girls.

The cost, including transport, stay, food and programmes, is Rs.850 per child. Please donate generously to support this initiative!
