We at the Oberoi Group have been overwhelmed by the concerns shown for the families of ten of our team members who lost their lives in the tragic events in Mumbai. Many guests and colleagues have expressed a desire to make a financial contribution. We have established “The Oberoi Care Fund” with Give India and Bombay Community Public Trust, renowned Non Government Organizations, for this purpose

“The Oberoi Care Fund” will accept contributions till March 31, 2009 by cheque or demand draft. Alternatively, contributions may also be made through Visa or Mastercard credit cards. These contributions will be collected by Give India and then disbursed to families by Bombay Community Public Trust.

Please enter the amount you wish to contribute and click the Donate Now button. You will be required to create a new user account with basic information if you do not already have a user account with Give India.

Please do follow these steps even if you choose to contribute by cheque or demand draft. This will create a transaction record and number which needs to be written on the reverse side of the cheque or demand draft. This will ensure that your contribution is recorded and used correctly.

For transparency, names of the donors and their contribution amounts shall be updated regularly on this page and on www.oberoigroup.com/oberoicarefund.

In light of the extreme circumstances of this national tragedy, GiveIndia will retain only 5% instead of 9.1% of your total donation to defray a part of its administrative expenses. During checkout you will see 9.1% added to your donation but GiveIndia will refund 4.1% to BCPT.
