The idea of making a difference in this world has been my mission in life .Nidan was initiated in 1996 as an instrument of organizing rural and urban poor in the unorganized sector to earn a dignified livelihood and social security. Today Nidan is making a great difference in the lives of millions of underserved sections through intervention in education, solid waste management, child care and maternal protection, livelihood and organizing the street vendors of INDIA, in Bihar and other three States of INDIA. Nidan has evolved a broad based strategy for the implementation of the rights of the poor through grassroots interventions and campaigns. Nidan offshoot sister organizations NASVI (National Association of Street Vendors), NSPL (Nidan Swachh Dhara Pvt. Ltd.) and Nidan Micro Finance Foundation have created a sustainable model of development.
