Hi!
Hippocampus Reading Foundation (HRF) has been working for the last 7 years assisting schools and other organisations to set up active libraries to combat the very low reading levels in children. More than 20% of children in the age group of 6 to 14 cannot recognise alphabets and the rest of them can barely read words and sentences. It costs HRF about Rs. 250 per child to set up a library.
