Every morning, 7 year-old Swapna gets ready to go to school. This seems to be a routine activity for a girl of her age, but Swapna is no ordinary child - she was born blind. Herself and her parents were not aware of Braille, only language to read and write for blind. So they did not send her to school and she used to while away her time without any hope of education.

Her prayers were finally answered when a donation to the NGO, Samrita Trust, helped Swapna to get a Braille kit(cost Rs 600 only) to learn the basics of Braille. Swapna learnt to read and write in Braille and joined English medium school and is studying in Class One. Her parents were delighted to send her to school. With your support one Swapna succeeded in going to school, but still there are hundreds of others like her praying silently for your help.

You can change the lives of blind children by sending them to schools with Braille kits and make the children and their parents happy. You will receive tax benefits for your donation.
