Khadarali Zakeer Hussain lives in one of the slums in Bangalore Khadarali Zakeer Hussain lives in one of the slums in Bangalore. His father and mother work as tailors. They earn a small income which is just enough to take care of their meals. It was a financial burden for them to educate Khadarali and his brother

The Social Servcie team from Christel House India visited the slum, found the family and encouraged the parents to send him to Christel House Learning Center. He joined Christel House Learning Center in the year 2003 and now he is in grade 9. Christel House Learning Center has changed Khadarali Zakeer Hussain s life by providing him quality education

Khadarali is an outstaning student who eagerly participates and volunteers for all class and school activities. He joined Taekwondo (Karate) while he was in fourth grade under our Physciacl Education Program. He won the gold medal for the sparring event under Sub - Junior male light welter conducted by National Taekwondo Competition in Mumbai in January 2009. He has been selected to attend a fully sponsored unique and fun filled 6 week Summer Leadership camp in Culver, Indianapolis, USA from June to July 2009
