The husband of Sunanda was a painting contractor The husband of Sunanda was a painting contractor. She came to know that her husband was infected only in his terminal stage of TB. To add to this misery she was also declared as positive. She with her meager income as a daily labour in a mill is supporting her family of a son and daughter. She fell ill due to a tumor developed in her back. She needed a surgical operation but nobody supported her

She was admitted in the government hospital with our support. As she is the only earning member of the family we supported the family of this widowed woman by supporting for food and medical expenses.

Sunanda is now back to her regular work as a labourer in the mill and supports her family. She recouped her health and sends her children to school regularly. Sunanda has also been referred to regular ART with our linkages with the government hospital.
