Manjunath belongs to a family that is economically backward. Manjunath belongs to a family that is economically backward. They were having small piece of land and with that his father was not able to earn enough amount to send his children for school. Sometimes he thought of sending his children for agricultural work. In this situation Manjunath was depressed for not getting education.

Samarthanam heard about his condition and discussed with his parents regarding what kind of problems they are facing in day to day life. We observed the interest of the child and listened to his desire of becoming an engineer in future days. He is admitted to Samarthanam High School.

Manjunath has good track record in his studies so far. Samarthanam encouraged him to develop himself and provided a platform where he can develop his knowledge. Presently he is studying in 10 grade and always a topper in all activities. This made him so confident that he can achieve his dream.
