Ruhi Jadhav was just like any other girl living in the slums of Khar. Ruhi Jadhav was just like any other girl living in the slums of Khar. After failing in the 10th Class, she did not have any direction in life untill she came across Yuva Parivartan

After Ruhi joined the Beautician course at Bandra outreach center in 2008, she got a new direction in life. After she completed the course she also trained in Nalini Yasmin in ‘Hair straightening and blow drying’ as a scholarship from KSWA. Later with the encouragement from Yuva Parivartan teachers, she went on to complete her Grade 12. She now successfully runs her own beauty parlor and has turned into a successful entrepreneur.

In 2008, Ruhi was selected for the Growing Up CEO program. As a winner, she was invited to the two-day Inner City 100 Summit held at Harvard University, Boston, USA.
