Success Story

The children of socially excluded women in Parbhani are usually deprived of quality education and learning. .

The children of socially excluded women in Parbhani are usually deprived of quality education and learning. Many of them even fail to attend even a day in a formal. Besides, there is a huge lack of academic orientation among them. Before we started the Balwadi these children were wandering here and there as the parents go for the wage. Our Balwadi provided them space to play and also learn. The children were also not keeping clean. The Balwadi taught them and their parents to keep the children clean, cut their nails, keep nose clean and keep hair proper. The children now sing songs; recognize the items in the pictures like flowers, vegetables and animals.

They are provided clothes, uniform, games and educational material. They will be further supported to link in formal schools.
The children are exposed to playful learning atmosphere with lots of games and educational material. They develop interest in the school. They get peer group and this in the process help the child to be in formal school.
