Success Story

The socially disadvantaged families in R.C. Street in Nathampatty Village The socially disadvantaged families in R.C. Street in Nathampatty Village were denied water which was available in the streets of affluent. They had to walk to 2 to 3 kms to fetch water. This consumed a lot of time and energy and rendered difficulty to the socially disadvantaged women.

MVKS with help of SHGs contribution arranged to install a bore well in this village and fitted a pump set. Now the water problem is mitigated to some extent. The pump fulfills at least 60% of water required for the people.

The socially disadvantaged women do have access to water on their street itself. They would find more time and save their energy to look after their families.
