Success Story

Maharajan a 10 year old little boy is affected by Cerebral Palsy.

Maharajan a 10 year old little boy is affected by Cerebral Palsy. He was not able to sit. His both feet were clubbed. He was very much emotional and had fear and shyness. Initially he was not able to speak even a single word and did not show any expression. He had difficulty to mingle with other children. He needed support for doing all his day-today activities. He was identified in a rural camp and was referred to Able Kids special school.

In the special school, initially he was given physiotherapy to both legs for relaxing the thigh and foot muscles. He was then trained to crawl. After that, he was trained to kneel with the support. At the same time his hands were also given more exercises with the help of balls. He was given special education too.
As a result of this he is now able to write and draw. He is able to speak one or two words and express his feelings. He is also mingling with other children. His parents are very much happy and confident about the development of their child.
