Success Story

Many of the children who are at our centres come from all over the country and because they are so unfamiliar with the city, they rarely step out of the site. Many of the children who are at our centres come from all over the country and because they are so unfamiliar with the city, they rarely step out of the site. This keeps them very isolated and vulnerable.

As part of our education programme, we take children on outings – field trips to various city museums, Mahim nature park, Marve beach, the planetarium and aquarium. It is often the first time children have left the site and seen the sea or had such an educational experience.

It is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn first hand through practical experiences of the various subjects we teach in their classrooms. It is also a chance for them to step outside the confines of the construction site, enjoy themselves, learn more about the city and be curious children!
