Hansa Gosai (Name Changed) is a poor women living in Veraval block of Junagadh District Hansa Gosai (Name Changed) is a poor women living in Veraval block of Junagadh District. Her husband died 6 years ago due to HIV. Smt. Hansa Gosai is also infected and has 3 daughters and 1 Son. She is unable to work; she is illiterate and faces problems to provide basic food and nutrition to her family.

From our Veraval branch office our counselor met Hansa Gosai and spoke to her and her family about proper treatment, nutrition and hygiene as she is HIV +VE. The organization also provided some financial support in terms of job and not a cash support. Our counselor counseled her that having HIV does not mean the life ends. People living with HIV can also live healthy life by caring small things. She felt better after the counseling.

Hansa now earns enough to take care of the daily requirements of her family. She is regularly taking treatment and counseling which is helping her. She is now confident to give her children proper education so that their future will become brighter. The idea behind the support is to raise their self confidence and to be hopeful again.
