Success Story

Dalit people in Uthumalai area went to work early in the morning and return late in the evening. Dalit people in Uthumalai area went to work early in the morning and return late in the evening. Their children who return from the school engage unwanted activities like chatting, watching Television and indulge in fights and violence. Their parents did not take care of their studies

In the light of this background our staff organized the children in a group and motivated them to spend their time constructively. For this purpose with the help of local fund we gave play things such as carom board, chess, cricket, volley ball, ring ball etc. Besides, they were given story books with colorful pictures. Our staff taught them play with enthusiasm.

The children started playing in the evening time without indulging in unwanted activities. They play with proper guidance, read good books and spend their times purposefully. The teachers and the parents feel happy about the improvement in their children
