Our students come from neighbouring slums with a majority of them especially the girls face socio-economic constraints that limit their imagination. Our Instructors/Teachers are also expected to motivate and counsel the students in other aspects of their lives. An example of a committed teacher is Ms. Arun Gohil, who trains boys in the Wireman course. Most of his students are less educated deprived youth and he interacts and counsels parents/relatives of the students so that his young students can learn the skill and become self sufficient

Due to the constant guidance of the instructor, they develop the confidence and other social skills to take up and hold a job. In case they want to set up their own enterprise, the teacher motivates them and holds his/her hand in the initial stages. This enables the directionless unfocussed youth who enter our programme to emerge as smart confident young boys and girls, able to support themselves and ready to make a meaningful contribution to society
