Entertainment Television in India as part of the core management team.

ensuring transparency and accountability. Volunteering with GiveIndia
has given me the opportunity to be associated with some truly wonderful
people. It's also a place where volunteer contributions are highly
valued and taken seriously."

|
| Deepika
Chawla |
 |
"Having
lived away
from home for some years and was I looking at ways to give India back
(as you do with age!), GiveIndia fortunately provided me with that
platform. It is a unique concept and appeals to some of the values I
uphold in terms of transparency and spreading the culture of giving but
more importantly what really excited me about it was the passion and
drive exhibited by the GiveIndia team. "

|
| Pawan Mehra |
 |
"Why am I
supporting GiveIndia? Because it makes giving easy and transparent.
When I moved out of India over a year ago, I was looking for a way to
give India back. I began to search for mechanisms to give to causes
that I felt for and soon realized that they (mechanisms) were not easy
to come by. Moreover I realized that I would like to be assured that my
act of giving was benefiting the cause I felt for. That is when I came
across GiveIndia and began supporting it so that other friends might
also be able to use the quick and efficient way of giving that
GiveIndia is all about."
|
Pawan has been working with IT and high technology companies
internationally for 8 years. He is currently Director of Business

| Rajasekharan Pathy |

|
"I have over
18
years of work experience. Wanted to do something fruitful with any
spare time that I had. The natural choice was GiveIndia for the immense
good work they do as conduits between NGOs and Donors. Their process
driven approach and the constant honing of processes with stress on
feedbacks impressed me. So here I am."
|
|
| Vimal |

|
"For me,
volunteering is an
opportunity to learn new skills and to test existing skills outside my
routine environment. When I visited the GiveIndia website for the first
time, there was one sentence - you will get an answer of your email
within 48 hours. This sentence truly inspired me to write to GiveIndia.
People at GiveIndia are committed, dynamic and down-to-earth. It
provides me an environment where I can learn and get a sense of doing
something good.
"
|
|
Our Management -
|
| Dhaval Udani - CEO |
 |
"I have been
involved with GiveIndia since 2006. I have met the most committed and
passionate people in my time here. The mystique of treating the donors
as the customer rather than the NGO drew me into this organization. I
am happy to have not only used my skills but have also learnt a fair
bit
of both hard and soft skills during my time here
"
|
|
Dhaval,
a graduate of IIM-A, was volunterering with GiveIndia while he worked
as a management consultant in a leading global consultancy firm . He is
eternally grateful to Aarti (the brilliant volunteer recruiter!) to
have introduced him to this wonderful organization. Having now come on
board full time, he helps with technology infrastructure, business

 |
"Umesh is an
engineer and a
management graduate by training. He has worked in the IT industry and
managed clients and teams in India and abroad. He has worked in the
social sector in the past on a voluntary as well as a consultancy
basis. His intervention in the social sector made him realize that most
NGOs are merely filling the gaps in the society created by bad
governance, whereas what is actually required is to close these gaps
through good governance. In order to bring about improvements in the
process of governance, he has worked in a professional capacity for
governance reforms."
|
|
Umesh currently heads the Operations team at
GiveIndia.
|

"While I was working in my first
organization, Deloitte, I used to teach underprivileged children post
office hours. From then on the idea of working in the development
sector interested me a lot. I quit my corporate career to follow my
interest and pursued a dual internship with Teach for India and Teach
for All organizations. Working in a start up NGO made me realize that
while NGOs in India are striving to impact the society at the grass
root, what is the much stable part of population doing in helping them
sustain and grow? Give India came across as an organization that
resonated this concern and is promoting a culture of giving. Working in
the Marketing Communications role offers me the pleasure and the

"I did not
know much about NGOs and joining GiveIndia was just a coincidence. What
I liked about GiveIndia is the way it bridges the NGOs (who help the
needy) with the donors from India and abroad. This helps the donors to
reach out to more beneficiaries through a credible organisation like
GiveIndia."

"Not satisfied with the
corporate sector, I decided to switch over to the development sector.
And GiveIndia
provides me with just the platform to contribute to this sector. It's
professional yet works for a cause I would like to associate myself
with.
Besides, with the number of NGOs emerging everyday, GiveIndia's role
becoming all the more important and
I feel lucky to be a part of it.

"Reaching out to people has
been my interest. I liked the way GiveIndia is reaching out to the
society by facilitating donations from the donors to the needy. The
fact that GiveIndia gives an opportunity for the donor to see how
his/her contribution has made a difference to someone's life impressed
me. I feel working for GiveIndia would give me an opportunity to serve
the social cause."
