Murali was always very angry. Murali was always very angry. He would not talk to anybody in the family properly. His neighbors in the Zamin Endrathur village in Kanchipuram Dist kept away from him. His old school friends who studied with him up to class 10 wondered what had gone wrong with him They remembered their school days when they would carry his school bag. He being affected by polio and using a stick to move around made no difference to them. Then why this sudden behavioral change?

We spent a day with him. Slowly he opened up and said he was not able to go out at all as there was nobody at home to help him.All his friends had taken up a job whereas he was the only one sitting at home.He is now 22 years old and has not done anything after passing his 10th standard exam. His village school had only up to 10th. We suggested a tricycle for him and his eyes sparkled at the idea. He was excited about it.

We provided him a tricycle. He came out of his own from house after 7 long years. He slowly started moving out. He started meeting his classmates. He learnt that there was a good computer training centre in the next village.Now he is learning MS Office in the computer centre in the next villageHe is using this tricycle now and has hopes are now alive.
