Success Story

Nikitha is a severely disabled child. Nikitha is a severely disabled child. When APD bus services were unavailable, her parents physically carried her to school daily. This was a problem for her parents and her attendance was very poor in school due to this.

Realizing the issue, APD started providing her pick up and drop by bus. The helper in our bus took care that Nikitha was safe and comfortable while commuting. Every school day our bus was at her doorstep to ensure she attends the school unless she was sick. The parents were relieved as they could devote more time for their work. Nikitha comfortably and safely commuted to school and her attendance drastically improved.

Five years down the line and being in APD, she today can sit properly on her wheel chair. She is able to talk, identify and recognize people by name. She is under-going special education in the school and is given undivided attention by special teachers. The parents are both delighted and relieved to see the unexpected progress of their child.
