Abhisekh is 14 years old. He was adopted by Sunanda who is single living in Mysore Abhisekh is 14 years old. He was adopted by Sunanda who is single living in Mysore. His mother worked as ayah at Apollo Hospital. She remained busy & did not pay attention to his upbringing. He had the bad habit of taking money & was disobedient. 1 day Abhishek took twenty rupees from the purse of his mother & she scolded him. The child felt insulted & ran away from home & came to Bangalore

We rescued the child from railway station & brought him to our shelter on 2/4/10. We fed him & gave him clothes. Since he did not give a clear address, the Mysore police was informed to trace his address. Police located Sunanda & she came to our shelter on 7/4/10. We told her to give him psychiatric treatment to get rid of the obsessive behavior. He child was handed over to his mother on 7/4/10.

We did follow up on 11/6/10 and his neighbor, Lalitamma informed that Sunanda took the Abhisekh to a psychiatrist and the child is under treatment. The mother spends more time with the child and has become very caring. The child has stopped throwing tantrums and does not take money. Mother and child are both happy at home.
