Success Story

Information Technology (IT) is the most important to get a job. Like other remote rural areas in India. Information Technology (IT) is the most important to get a job. Like other remote rural areas in India, Khorda Gram Panchayat under Diamond Harbour II Block in South 24 Parganas West Bengal has no such facilities for their youth who need to travel far to bigger towns to get this training.

Bani Mandir started a Computer Training Centre at Khordanahala village where around 100 students got basic knowledge on Computer. Puskar Halder 17 years, a student of Khandalia High School (H.S) joined our Computer Training Centre where he learned Basic & Office Word. Some other students also learned D.T.P. The Training Programme was for six months only.

Puskar Halder, after his training, continued to sharpen his knowledge. Now he is ready for his Higher Secondary Examination after which he planned to join a Call Centre as an IT professional. Like Puskar there are many students who aspire to join the IT sector, to be office assistants or take a job in the print industry.
