Success Story

Meghana is only daughter to her parents. Meghana is only daughter to her parents. Unfortunately she is suffering from Muscular dystrophy, where she was not able to stand properly or even to walk alone. Her parents were worried about her future, if at all she has to walk she needs some to support.

Meghana’s parents heard about Anga Karunya Kendra and the services to the disabled people. They brought her to our centre, where she was given the bilateral AFO’s ( Ankle Foot Orthosis) with the shoes. The fitment made her to stand properly without any support.

When Meghana was fitted with the Ankle Foot Orthosis, it raised her level of confidence, she started walking slowly. She is happy to have the fitment as she could start her studies.
