Success Story

Jahith is 13 yrs old, from very poor Muslim minority family. Jahith is 13 yrs old, from very poor Muslim minority family. His father is a Street vendor , and mother has no job. Jahith is disabled by birth. His parents had a consequence marriage (marriage between blood relatives). He was born as a premature baby with low birth weight 1.5 kgs. He is severely challenged and – Unable to meet his daily needs. He salivates continuously

Bharathamatha Family Welfare Foundation Identified and selected Jahith and admitted him in the home for mentally challenged children in June2007.This home is run by Bharathamatha Welfare Foundation. We have given him food, accommodation, education and physical training to bring him in to mainstream life and to live peacefully and happily

After the successful completion of staying one year in our home at Thiruthuraipundi, he is now able to manage all his daily activities by himself and his health condition has improved. His parents are also happy with him. He is now staying at the Bharathamatha home.
