Six month old Tamara was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Six month old Tamara was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She weighed 600 gms born premature in the 7th month. Was in an incubator for the first 6 months of her life. Her mother was dying with an incurable desease.

The paediatritian from the hospital called us to request us to take this child into care. Her parents were in no condition to take care of her as the mother was terminally ill and the father had no support.. We visited Tumkur from where she came and admitted her into our facility. She was in our neonatal unit with 24/7 nursing supervision.

After a few months in care Tamara went into foster care with an experienced family. Her foster parents Grace and Leon and their children with fear and anxiety took her in. She weighed less than 2 kg. She was 3 years when matched with a loving family because of her special needs and a year later at the age of four Tamara went to the U.S adopted by her family who came down to India to take her home.
