Success Story

Renu Devi the Block Education officer was unaware of the potential of blind persons Renu Devi the Block Education officer was unaware of the potential of blind persons so she was unwilling to implement a 3% reservation for the challenged during appointment of teachers. Even the district education officer, welfare officer and other officials ignored them. Eligible challenged candidates despaired and gave up hope.

When the candidates approached Shubham, we decided to arrange a seminar. All district officers were invited to the seminar. Educated disabled persons including professors, lawyers, chartered accountants and others were invited. The government officials were convinced of the potential of challenged persons and were made aware about government circulars in this regard.

After our intervention, out of 600 jobs for primary and middle teachers for all persons, 18 challenged persons (3%) got jobs of primary and middle school teachers. They are teaching successfully and thankful to Shubham.
