Success Story

Seethalakshmi is a widow. Nobody took care of her after the death of her husband Seethalakshmi is a widow. Nobody took care of her after the death of her husband. She worked as a coolie in construction work. And she faced many difficulties due to her poverty. Her meager income was not sufficient to buy food, continue her son’s education, to pay her doctor’s fees and to run her family. She has no money to repair her thatched house and was worried about her future.

EDUCATR came to know Seethalakshmi through a SHG member. SHG member met her and discussed about an alternative livelihood. EDUCATR supported Seethalakshmi by purchasing a sewing machine to support her family.

Seethalakshmi purchased one sewing machine through our support & from 3rd month onwards she was able to manage her family expenses and education of her son who is studying in 3rd standard in elementary school.
