Balaji Singh,23 years hails from an economically backward family from rural Bangalore.His family did not have any academic knowledge and conscious of health and hygiene therefore he was afflicted by polio. Due to his severe disability he studied only up to 6th standard

APD team selected him for Horticulture training. After joining HT he underwent 10 months training course and learnt gardening skills . Apart from this he has gained the knowledge of personal hygiene, cooking and also the importance of nutritious food. The organization has assessed and provided him a wheel chair for his easy mobility

After completing the course, APD provided him a job in horticulture unit. He is handling separate unit independently. He settled in Bangalore and is leading a healthy and happy life.
