Govindammal W/o. Govindaraj lives in Jayaram Nagar, Athipatty Village of Aruppukottai Block. Govindammal W/o. Govindaraj lives in Jayaram Nagar, Athipatty Village of Aruppukottai Block. Her husband Govindaraj is working as casual labourer in Ramalinga Mills. She has three daughters, one is married and settled, and the second one deserted by her husband and the third daughter is studying. She finds it very difficult to manage the day-to-day requirements of the family with the poor wages of her husband.

She approached SEEDS with a proposal to start a Flower Merchandizing. SEEDS gave her a capital to start the enterprise.

Now she is now earning Rs. 150 every day as profit out of the flower merchandizing which is taking care of the day to day expenses of the family while the wages from her husband are being utilized for the educational requirement of the last daughter and the remaining is saved for her marriage.
