Kavya is 12 year old girl from Bangalore suburb. Kavya is 12 year old girl from Bangalore suburb. She is studying 7th standard at Government higher upper primary school Hulimavu- Bangalore. She used to go to school with a lunch box given by her mother. Her parents were struggled to find good and nutritious food every day. Their financial and work timing didn t allow them to provide a good lunch box every day for her child. It affected her attendance and academic performance.

Under our Vidyaprasad Annadana scheme, we started supplying nutritious cooked food to 35,000 children in 150 schools including Kavya s school. She has been provided with hot and nutritious mid-day meal for last one year.

The hot and nutritious mid-day meal helped her parents to send their child to school without bothering the mid-day meal. It helped them to go for some daily wage work early in the morning and it lead to the improved financial condition. Kavya became very happy, now she is feeling healthier and concentrating on her studies.
