Vellathal is a 72 year old deaf and uncared mother residing at Alingikarai village, Vellathal is a 72 year old deaf and uncared mother residing at Alingikarai village, Tiruchirappalli district. Even though she has two sons no one cares her. She lost her husband 40 years back. She receives Rs. 400 and 5kg of rice under the old age pension scheme every month which is not enough for her.

With the support of the donor we provided rice and provisions and 1 Sari, 1 underskirt, 1 towel and she met the other expenses like firewood, vegetables, health care through her OAP income which is much helpful to run her life.

Now Vellathal cooks herself and eats. She is free from hunger.
