S F Solanki now resides at 108, Sohil Park, B/h Navrang Flat, Nr Fatehvadi Bus Stop, Sarkhej Road, Ahmedabad - was born in 1902 S F Solanki now resides at 108, Sohil Park, B/h Navrang Flat, Nr Fatehvadi Bus Stop, Sarkhej Road, Ahmedabad - was born in 1902, when India was poor, struggling to unshackle itself of slavery and impoverishment. She bore 7 sons and 3 daughters of whom some died and some went their ways, and she turned a widow. Left alone with one son - working as a security guard - this 103 years old active lady was introduced to us by a NGO - SARJAN. She had never been inside of a car, never seen the modern Ahmedabad.

Our fancied JoyRide keeps inviting good Samaritans to gift their cars. Responding to such a request Mr Priyavadan Shah lent his on 27th Oct 09 [Reg No GJ-1-HL-6421]. Smt Solanki was an august JoyRider in this car.

Today Mm. Solanki is a proud centurion happy that her country has progressed truly. Riding up the escalator in the ISCON Mall she exclaimed how ladders climb up by themselves!
