Organization team had visited Patadi Village, there we found five months pregnant Daya Organization team had visited Patadi Village, there we found five months pregnant Daya, who had not gone for a doctor’s check up. She doesn’t know about sonography testing. She is not resting enough and is working hard even in this condition. She has not taken a single vaccination. This was the position of many women in this area because women are uneducated.

We held a meeting amongst the women of the village and explained to them the type of care they should take at the time of pregnancy. We met Daya at this meeting, she is an agriculture labor and she has two children. The monthly income of her family is 2000. She was pregnant. We had given details of medicine and vitamins which is necessary for her children.

After our work in the area the children born are much healthier, now the women go for regular check ups for the first month onwards. The family members have realized that exertion at work would put the mother and child at risk. At least 90% of the women now have healthy children.
