Success Story

There was acute poverty in the family of one poor tribal child named Jagannath Murmu Acute poverty in the family of one poor tribal child named Jagannath Murmu from village Hasimpur deprived him from attending the nearby primary school. He was engaged in household work. His studies were affected due to want of uniforms and school materials.

Jagannath and his parent were motivated by the ARM animators, his uniforms, school bag & teaching material were provided through a GiveIndia donor and his class attendances were monitored regularly. Therefore the boy could complete the session without any irregularity and dropout.

Thus assisted Jagannath regularly went to school. His interest for class work improved. He did better academically after being supported with educational aids .Other children from the community have followed his path.
