Mrs. Muthumari is a 74 years old widow with Tubercolosis, living at Maranthai village in Alankulam Taluk Tamilnadu Mrs. Muthumari is a 74 years old widow with Tubercolosis, living at Maranthai village in Alankulam Taluk Tamilnadu with her daughter Mrs.Nangaiar (age 41) who is also a widow. Nangaiar has two daughters. She is working as an agriculture coolie and earns Rs.35/per day (not regular) with this income Nangaiar is not able to manage her family. As such she cannot take care her aged mother

During house visit, our staff of Vizhuthukal Trust found out the pathetic condition of Mrs. Muthumaris family. Our staff arranged regular medicines from the Government hospital at Alankulam, after a thorough check-up. With the local donation Mrs. Muthumari was provided 10 Kg. of rice , grocery, a saree, health drink, and vegetable by Vizhuthukal Trust .

Because of the regular medical care and livelihood assistance Mrs. Muthumaris health and family condition have improved considerably. Now Muthumari is not a burden to her family. Now we can see the rays of happiness on her face.
