As a child he was brought to SSM run Anand Balgram (SOS Childrens Village) Neither of his parents ever visited to see how their child was doing. He grew up almost like an orphan. Of course the care and affection shown in the campus never let him feel so. As the first enrolled boy of the Sagroli Sunrise Project, he has always upheld the banner.

He has out performed professionals at Delhi and Mumbai Marathon. He has won the 1st place for three consecutive years at the Shankarrao Chavan Memorial Marathon. The entire district feels proud of him. We received Real Heroes CNN IBN Award for outstanding contribution in sports. The strength and commitment of the rural youth is far more competitive compared to the urban counterparts.
