Peeka Anjamma (35yr) & her husband Samuel are residents of NTR Nagar in Chirala Mandal. They have 1 son. Her husband works as a lorry driver. She does agricultural labour work. During his travels, Samuel got into illegal relationships with sex workers & infected by HIV/AIDS. Later Anjamma also got infected from him.The saddest part is that her husband deserted her by leaving the home.

Anjamma was identified by RAKSHANA through the SHGs & was counseled immediately. Her child was admitted in the Anganwadi center and she was joined in the groups, reffered to the district hospital for the medicines. Later she was supported by the one month nutrition food to improve her health and confidence.
