Veerammal (65yrs) has been abandoned by her children Veerammal (65yrs) is living in Pandian Nagar. She had a son and daughter. After their marriage, they have abandoned her. She has lost her husband and is living alone. By selling sweets & fruits outside elementary school, she found a little earning that was not enough for a living.

She attended an awareness meeting and joined the elders self help group and started saving and requested us to support to generate more income in order to solve her problems. In support of our cash assistance, she purchased goats for rearing.

In addition to her routine work, she is also rearing the goats. By selling the calves, she earns good income that ensures her three meals a day. Now her children came forward to provide care and support to her and now she leads a better life.
